Yes, it’s quite common. You’re going to need to contact Facebook support and advise them. Remove anyone that’s been added, reset all passwords on a fresh device and set 2FA on all accounts.

As long as the account(s) you use to admin the BM haven’t also been hacked and banned you should be able to recover.

Good luck. Had the same happen in July of last year and I’m still waiting for them to remove the bad accounts added to the business manager. They demoted me from Business Manager admin and I’m unable to use any BM features.
Honestly it’s affected our business but Meta doesn’t seem to care. I shit you not they have been working on the same ticket since July 2022.

You should check all the ad accounts you manage for scam campaigns and also check for auto rules setup. Odds are you’re going to lose that BM and maybe even your personal will get disabled. Start planning for that.
