Advice on Website Indexing Issues

I recently launched a price comparison website for tools in Australia, but as an apprentice carpenter, I have limited knowledge of SEO and marketing. So far, I have been following SEO guides on YouTube to increase our visibility on search engines. Due to our low website authority and lack of backlinks, I have decided to target longtail low volume keywords. I am currently working on building backlinks by reaching out to other blogs and websites.
However, we are facing an issue with our website’s indexation status. While Webmaster shows that they have discovered 5k URLs, only 1.4k have been indexed. This is acceptable, as most of the URLs are for product pages with limited content. But, the problem is that our blog is not getting indexed, and only a few of our articles appear on Google.

You can manually tell Google to index pages by submitting the URL to GSC. With that many pages it’s going to take a while to do it manually but you can at least get the ball rolling. Otherwise it could take a long time for google to find each of your pages organically.

How old is the site? 5k is a big crawl budget straight out of the gate?
