  • Advice on how to monetize my accounts

    Hey!

I’m looking for ideas on how to monetize an audience I already have on social media and turn it into a proper business.

Over the past year, I’ve been growing accounts in the personal development space. I got to around 100k on IG and 60k on TikTok. The initial idea was to sell info products, and while it did make some money, it never really took off. Between that and my 9 to 5, I ended up pretty disconnected for a couple of months, so the accounts are kind of inactive right now.

Now I want to get back into it, but with a more serious focus on monetization.

What I’m especially interested in is doing affiliate marketing the right way, not just random links, but actually partnering with brands or creators with solid products and building something long term (conversion-focused content, funnels, etc.).

I’m also aware that my audience is probably a bit “cold” right now, since the content was quite impersonal (faceless), so I’m open to rethinking the strategy if needed.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or has ideas on how to approach this?

Any experiences or suggestions would be really appreciated 🙏

I’m not an expert on either of those platforms but have had conversations with monetization of audiences with some real pros. You’ll have to decide your offer and create offer focused content to test how it converts.

Sometimes with situations like this you might already have a large audience but it’s not full of people who are ready to buy what you are offering so you need to adapt content to facilitate that.

That’s the main suggestion I would have for you is be open to taking extra time to find the right offer that fits best with your existing audience because theres a chance that most of the audience you have is not aligned with any offer you may have.
