A face search tool made me rethink how images get indexed across the web

I uploaded an old photo of myself and it pulled up a few pictures from accounts I barely remember using.
That really got me thinking about how deeply images stay indexed online, even when the pages or profiles are not active anymore. It made me wonder how much overlap there is between traditional SEO indexing and the kind of public data crawling these face matching systems do.
This is not a promotion. It was just an interesting moment that made me realize how much of our visual content remains searchable long after we forget about it. Curious if anyone here has studied how face based search connects to image SEO or structured data in any meaningful way.

Honestly anything you put online will probably be indexed by at least 1 search engine.
