Friend redesigned and launched a ecommerce site without any 301’s… What will be the consequences? : SEO
So a friend redesigned and relaunched his site a few weeks ago without doing any 301’s. Many of the products are sort of similar in this new launch, and I think could have used that juice power. It got me thinking…
What are the consequences of this? Will google just deindex those old pages and eventually reindex the new ones? The homepage URL stayed the same so I figure that keeps all the juice (majority of the sites backlinks).
