    YouTube shorts ads are Insane

Posted by speaks-_- on January 3, 2023 at 3:55 pm

Low CTRs, Low CPCs and decent conversion rates.

Reminds me of Facebook ads in 2017-2019.

    Sample size is very small.

We’re currently working with V shred for a month it’s insane the results were getting.

I’ll update this post in a couple months when I have more niches running YouTube shorts.

They’ve been very good performers for me from what I’ve seen, sending a lot of trafic despite my creatives being only so so.

What’s your niche/industry? Price point of products? Are they just short video ads?

Hey u/speaks-_- can you explain your process to get placements on shorts specifically? I know another user speculated but I am wondering if there is a more definitive way

Too bad V shred is a scam with false claims and bad fitness info that isn’t legit in any way. Turnover is insane but hey if you’re going for cheap clicks with -1000 CTV sure. I look forward to when YT Shorts has enough shelf life to actually be a placement instead of only vertical videos. They do great organically if you have the right audience.

How many different types of ads are you running? Typical length?

Thank you for sharing the heads-up. I do wonder if the subject of quick fitness that V-Shred offers in January, a month where more people than ever are looking for quick solutions to get in shape, is what is resulting In the conversion rate. It will be interesting to see the results for something non-fitness related

YT is also bumping up the revenue for creators on shorts relatively soon so we may see an increase in quality short content which might help with niche advertising.
