100% WordPress. Wix sites are not very flexible from an optimisation perspective.

Wordpress is any day better than Wix. Wix can be used if you just need a face website for your business and not more than that.

But if you need to have a proper website, want to do SEO and make an all customizable website there is no point in using Wix. WordPress is your answer!

WordPress all the way. I hate doing work on Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify sites because it is nearly impossible. Wix is a drag and drop CMS so the code is messy.

Doesn’t matter, both will rank. Don’t listen to the theories about Wix being crap.

On that note I prefer WordPress as there are a lot more custom options

Well, Wix and WordPress both are popular CMS i.e Content Management System are free but the point that will make difference here specially from the SEO point of view, is that Wix is Saas i.e. Software as a service, without going too technical about saas, just remember one thing that in Saas it is not possible to write the source code, or modify the source code you can just write the content, in case your website is having problem in coding which is affecting your Organic Ranking, you won’t be able to do anything about it, for example if there are unminified JavaScript & CSS files you can do nothing in Wix, except for regretting on your choice.

Wordpress offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to the SEO, and above all its a Open Source, so have the full flexibility here to choose to modify the source code of your website, along with fixing errors, Meta Title & Descriptions of your website etc.

    Thank you
