Will FB Conversion Campaigns Increase ROI Over Time If You Keep Sending More Pixel Data?
I’ve got a lead generation campaign right now that’s sitting between -10% to 10% ROI. It’s still in the learning phase and has about 15 conversion events(completed lead forms). If I leave this campaign alone and just let the pixel continue to track conversions, will it automatically increase my ROI on its own over time? Or does it usually require more testing of ads, audiences, new copy, etc?
I’m used to other types of media buying where there is no magic pixel that can go out and find your audience. So this idea is still pretty new to me and I’m wondering how much I should rely on the pixel to do the heavy lifting. If I leave this campaign alone sitting at -10% ROI, is it likely to just improve over time without me doing anything else? Or should I be looking for 50%+ ROI even in the learning phase?
For the record I’m firing pixel events when someone visits my page, when they complete half of the lead form, and ultimately when they convert as a lead. The campaign is optimizing for conversions/leads(when they complete the form) but I do have pixel data from all the other events.
