  • Will dropping daily budget hurt Facebook ad?

I’m in an odd situation. I’m running a very profitable ad for a company but for some reason they’re dead set on not going over $1000 a month in ad spend. I’m at $950 today, spending $35/day. I know scaling up too fast and ruin your results, but can I drop the budget without damaging the ad?

There are a lot of variables to this equation. The short answer to your question is you should be okay reducing your ad budget. It sounds like you are happy with the algorithm and how the ad results are running.

A lot of variables are in place as to whether you should scale an ad or not. Usually your biggest limiting factor is audience size and ad frequency. Many ruin a good ad by trying to scale a local businesses community. If you are trying to sell something that is not for local communities however, do your research on whether you should be scaling big time or not.

Try to decrease your budget with max. 15% daily in order to avoid the campaign entering the learning phase.
