GuestJuly 7, 2024 at 6:35 pmPPC is easier to understand. As Long as you follow Google’s very opaque rules. There are a lot of people who honestly think Google is going to turn the open web back on.
PPC can get expensive and it can be stressful. But if you do the right search terms you can be okay

GuestJuly 7, 2024 at 8:32 pmSEO is a lot more cloak and daggers which I think leads to more mystery and intrigue. PPC is pretty straightforward.

GuestJuly 7, 2024 at 9:02 pmYou can learn SEO for free or by using tools for a few hundred dollars.
Learning PPC costs a lot of money. You need a client to trust you with their money – or you need your own money.
This means:
You can learn SEO on your own blog for free/cheap.
You can’t learn PPC without investment.
That’s why there are more people teaching and discussing SEO. It has a lower barrier to entry so more people have access to it.

GuestJuly 7, 2024 at 10:01 pmPPC = you need to know how Google works and as long as you have decent budgets you’re good along with a good product you’re good.
SEO = as long as you have a good perception economically within a business you might be able to make it work. A lot more risky though and a lot more long term thinking.

GuestJuly 8, 2024 at 5:14 amPPC gets less buzz than SEO for a few key reasons. First, PPC campaigns are complex and costly, making them less accessible to newbies. SEO, on the other hand, is easier to start with minimal investment, leading to a larger, more active community. Plus, SEO tips and tricks have a longer shelf life, while PPC strategies can quickly become outdated due to frequent changes in ad platforms. Free resources for SEO are abundant, but in-depth PPC content often hides behind paywalls. So, while SEO groups thrive, PPC discussions tend to be smaller and more niche. If you’re keen on PPC, try LinkedIn, Warrior Forum, or Reddit’s r/PPC and r/GoogleAds for quality insights.
