Why do some ads get nothing for two weeks and then 2-3 form submittals in just one day?

I work with a mental health therapy practice and we see nothing for a few weeks and then all of a sudden see two or three formt submittals in a day, and then once again nothing for a week or two. It is not due to changes in budget, cost per click, etc. No major changes have been made on landing pages, ads, etc. The campaign is worth running because it only take a few new lcients to make it worthwhile.

Has anyone seen something like this? Statistically, what I am seeing just doesn’t make sense.

    TIA.

I have a client in the healthcare space. I run their Google and Meta ads. Patient bookings fluctuate like crazy daily, but net out at pretty similar rates over the course of a month. We’ve been trying to figure out why, but a lot of it just depends on demand from potential patients. Highly unpredictable.

Are you running on really low budgets?

Could be a case budgets are so low and wants to be 100% certain it brings in conversions, therefore pretty much is saving spend until it knows it is worthwhile to bid high enough to ensure a conversion.
