If you switch plugins, do you have to redo all info on past posts? (Thinking about yoast to rank math both on free plan for now)

None. These are all based on keyword % (keyword stuffing) and its up there with water divining and the Zodiac. For every example of “how it works” – there are another 1k blog posts/articles that dont rank 1st using the same model.

Good question. You might get better advice if you state your desired goal and outcome.
If its “lifting SEO” (aka Universal SEO/Optimistic SEO) and you think there’s some magic formula / set of tick boxes, then you’re really in the early days of understanding SEO which is a fairly complex system in terms of application. Like, having a plugin does nothing, as does just registering with GSC and submitting an XML sitemap.

Never pay for the upgrades the free service works wonders. I use All In One SEO and hated RankMath.

I am a fan of yoast for being both complex yet simple
with the on page ranking while you are creating the post you can get it right the first time.
I like all of the other features as well
ALL in one offers the same stuff, its just not as user friendly

I decided to try rankmath over yoast for a new site and it seems really good. Only dislike is not getting 100% seo score because I don’t have a number in my title. Dumb.
