A lot of tips on the internet, especially YouTube, are for accounts for few to no followers on social media.

As someone who recently gained a lot of followers on Instagram, what are some channels and books I can access to improve my game plan?

Advice I’m mostly looking for, but not limited to:
How to engage with followers better
    How to monetize my page
    How to manage mental health

Hope to see some nice resources! Thanks.

Hey man, social media strategist/marketer here. I’ve worked with influencers in the Youtube/Instagram space, people like Vincent Chan, Daniel Iles, Erika Kullberg and a few others. Before working together they were all under 100K, and now they are all close to a million in less than 18 months. Once you reach a certain level on success, you should outsource as much as you can to other people, build a team or hire an agency to take care of the strategy and the management. That way you can earn a good chunk of change and work 3-4 hours a week on filming. That’s how successful people/influencers are able to grow exponentially when they cross a certain threshold. Right now short video content is killing it on Insta and #shorts, if you’re consistent you can really increase you can build a solid foundation. Develop some content pillars and hashtag libraries for each on the insta side, try to combine some hashtags for discovery, traction and reach. If you need more pointers or any clarifications feel free to shoot me a DM 🙂

Someone really should write a hefty play book because there is a lot to know.

My experience as a social media manger in terms of engagement is that you reply to comments with questions. Reply to as many as feasible. Find ways to have followers feel like they’re going back and forth like the stories question boxes and polls.

Mental health is massive and I’m still working on mine just having to be on socials so much. But not sure what the struggle of a huge following brings.

YouTube shorts is definitely the way to go for monetisation right now +if you can start to understand what brands look for in UCG, start making stuff and leave out competitors and other brands. Tag the brands. They’ll want to work with you, trust me.

    Edit: grammar
