Introducing your brand isn’t very effective when (1) you don’t have an audience, and (2) no one is interested yet. Here’s what I recommend based on your industry:

    1. **Create Your Socials**: Start by setting up your social media accounts and posting relevant content. Run brand awareness campaigns targeting a broad audience (which is usually cost-effective).
    2. **Leverage Your Personal Network**: Share your content on your personal accounts and ask friends to help spread the word. This will help you gain some initial followers.
    3. **Content Strategy**: Once you’ve gained some traction, start posting behind-the-scenes (BTS) content and glimpses of your product. Create engaging reels, especially on Instagram, with trending music to increase the chances of virality. Don’t forget to post carousels for better engagement.
    4. **Build Hype for the Launch**: As you get closer to launching, build excitement by posting countdowns and showing your enthusiasm. Create anticipation so people look forward to your launch.
    5. **Consistency After Launch**: Once you go live, keep posting regularly. Make sure your Instagram stories are active, but don’t overdo it—balance between consistency and avoiding spam.

Where do you plan on selling the actual products?
Through your website? Social media? Or at a physical location?

You can start by creating some organic content introducing your brand or your story, and run a small campaign on it to bring it infront of people. While posting video content frequently.

You can put out teasers and ‘trailers’ for your launch event.(the day you will start accepting sales) or consider a pre-launch or soft launch to keep people excited.

Please not that its a competitive industry (home decor) so its important to stand out whether you’re making reels/videos or posting pictures or graphics.

If theres any more information you need or questions you may have, feel free to ask or shoot a DM my way.

Come up with a content strategy. What do you wanna show? What should your content look like? What’s a strategy you can actually maintain without slacking off? Just showing your products might be useless, you gotta create value for your customers – entertaining and fun content or maybe just fancy interior design examples – also depends on the platform you wanna use.

If it’s a one person business I would start talking about it on TikTok – use your face and tell about your brand, your journey. Don’t be too sales-y. No one will care about launches or launch events when they don’t know you. Except for if you manage to create real hype around your products.

Start with a compelling brand introduction to establish your identity, then mix in behind-the-scenes content to engage and excite your audience.

    BOTH!! CONSTANTLY!!

THIS IS MY BRAND TAKE A LOOK AT OUR JOURNEY !!
THIS IS MY BRAND TAKE A LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES !!
THIS IS MY BRAND HERE IS WHAT INSPIRES ME !!
    Etc. Etc. Etc.

Remember the audience doesn’t necessarily see your content in the order you release it

    Just start:

    1. Pick one platform (I mean one)
    2. Study what successful creators in your niche are already doing.
    3. From your research, pick what you can imitate, personalize it.
    4. Create a content calendar for the next 30 days.
    5. Post at least once a day for the next 30 days.
    6. After the first 30 days find out what’s working and what’s not.
    7. From the posts that worked pick them up and rewrite them.
    8. Post them again but with different headings, slight changes in words and captions.
    9. Double down on what worked again.

PS: before the first 30 days of posting make sure you’ve set up your sales funnel (landing page, opt-in form…)

That’s how I grew my audience to 1,107 followers.

Gaining followers and building an audience for your small décor business on social media is essential for growth and sales. Here are ten strategies to help you achieve that:

    # 1. Create High-Quality Content

    * Share visually appealing images and videos of your décor products. Use good lighting, angles, and staging to highlight their best features. Consider creating content like room makeovers or styling tips that feature your products.

    # 2. Leverage User-Generated Content

    * Encourage your customers to share photos of their spaces featuring your décor items. Repost their content on your social media accounts, tagging them and giving them credit. This builds community and social proof.

    # 3. Use Hashtags Strategically

    * Research and use relevant hashtags that your target audience is likely to search for. Include popular ones like #homedecor, #interiordesign, and specific hashtags related to your niche or style.

    # 4. Collaborate with Influencers

    * Partner with influencers who align with your brand. They can showcase your products to their followers, providing exposure and credibility. You can offer them free products or a commission on sales generated through their promotion.

    # 5. Host Giveaways

    * Run contests or giveaways where participants have to follow your account, like the post, and tag friends to enter. This can rapidly increase your visibility and follower count.

    # 6. Engage with Your Audience

    * Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly. Engage in conversations with your followers and other users in your niche by liking, commenting on, and sharing their content.

    # 7. Utilize Social Media Ads

    * Invest in targeted social media ads on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. You can create ads that focus on your products, promotions, or the overall aesthetic of your brand, reaching a wider audience beyond your followers.

    # 8. Post Consistently

    * Develop a content calendar and post regularly. Consistency keeps your audience engaged and helps you stay top-of-mind. Aim to post at optimal times when your target audience is most active.

    # 9. Share Behind-the-Scenes Content

    * Give your audience a glimpse into the making of your products, your workspace, or your creative process. This adds a personal touch and helps build a connection with your followers.

    # 10. Leverage Story Features

    * Use Instagram and Facebook Stories to share quick updates, product launches, or limited-time offers. Polls, quizzes, and Q&A sessions in Stories can also increase engagement and interaction with your followers.

Implementing these strategies consistently should help you grow your social media presence, build a loyal audience, and ultimately drive more sales for your décor business.

Starting with a clear brand introduction is key. Share your brand story, values, and what makes your decor unique. It builds a connection with your audience and sets the stage for everything else. Once you have that foundation, you can mix in behind-the-scenes content to show your creative process and engage your audience. Think of it as building a relationship—start with the basics and then invite them into your world!

I recommend working with a social media expert who can help you put together a marketing plan, social media strategy and content plan for your brand. As long as you have an established brand identity then they will be help you to create a strategy and plan designed to grow your audience, build brand awareness and drive sales and leads. This is something I do with my clients who are home stagers and it’s very effective.
