when should i hire a web developer and a web designer
is that ok to buy a domain and hosting service and make some simple content and the hire web designer and developer to work on technical and creative side of my website or do i need to start hiring them from the start ? and how can i avoid paying too much for the services ? what do i need to know or ask before hiring to get the best results ?

Why do you want to hire a web designer or developer and what do you want to do – I would have thought figuring that out 1) was much more important and 2) would answer the question?

I spent over 20k in web agencies over the years. The best decision I did was to fire the last one and to educate myself to elementor and semrush. Can’t believe I wasted so much money

Domain and hosting you purchased it’s done. While website creation, do h have such skills if u have try if u dont have wanna everything on time hire someone to do it for u. The most important thing is to make a website sketch and all the texts by yourself before hiring anyone. The website needs to be completed “on the paper” thoroughly before you hire anyone. As u/EcceLez said very well, educate yourself on Elementor and Semrush.

I’ve just taken on another taxi client. New site with elementor. The site looks half decent but would never rank as is.
I think there is room for seos who can do the web work too. I would get nothing done if I waited for the designers. -
If the website is new, do it by yourself. WordPress like CMS are very easily optimised without having developers like skills.
But if your business is running and the website needs to get push asap and you are making good money and don’t have much time so you should definitely hire a developers
