What’s the chance of Bluesky crushing Twitter / Facebook in the long term?
I recently logged onto Twitter and it’s amazing how bad is had gotten, all my suggested trends are some nutjub right winged bs trains of thoughts, kinda sad.
I’ve read bit’s and pieces about Jack’s Bluesky App, but have no real insight if it has the possibilities to really overtake Twitter in the long run or if it will just become something more niche like Mastadon.
I am interested in hearing what social media pro’s have to think about this. what’s your prognosis and why?

There’s no way to know which platform will take over now that Twitter is circling the drain. With advertisements not wanting to touch it I’m not entirely sure what will be next, but typically if a young audience is wanting to use a platform is a good indication that it will be used down the line
