Being constantly barraged on LinkedIn by people selling shitty links

I don’t want to do the work. I’m budgeted for 80 hours a month for two clients and I barely work 15. No motivation. And the sites are doing great organically. Hourly work is a such a drag.

SEO myths perpetuated on web forums and then recycled/peddled by web agencies and wanna-be SEO experts.

Stagnant growth. At a position where I feel like I’m not learning anymore. Will probably give my 2 weeks notice once I hit the 6 month mark.

SEO is just one tool in the digital marketing toolbox. To many SEO specialist are not focused on truely what best for the client. Whether it page views or closing deals or pretax revenue. As a service SEO pays the best, but usually the clients need more help. I always have to ask are you answer your phones? What are your conversation rates? Questions like these which are obvious important fall by the way side from many small business owners. Only by providing value do you help the client.

Fucking owners and webdevs designing sites that are style over substance even if you can get some decent optimization on page and get some traffic it doesn’t convert because no fucking selling is going on the site
