Whats the best way to create awareness for my plastic surgery clinic ?
country – India
So, i have area of like 80 miles. I want to spread awareness that I am here as doctor. I just want to spread awareness that a doctor (plastic surgeon) is available in your city. Whats the best way to achieve it? Let me know what I have done so far
1) Youtube video ads – I created a simple video in which i introduced doctor and started i cater to these cities. It did 40k views. But when i went inside the analytics. I saw that youtube showed my video in city which is 120 miles away.Like 60% of views are from city where I will not get any clients. When i dug deep, i came to know youtube show ads to those who are staying or shown interest in visiting my city. Now, I live in very popular tourist destination.
Entire country want to come here. But this doesnt mean they will opt for cosmetic procedure in my city. So, i have no cluehow to target my youtube video ads specifically to my city.
2) I tried google display ads . Again I think it saw my landing page which i think had some restricted keywords like liposuction. Google limited my ads. I am trying to create new landing page where i just mention name of the doctor and speciality. I hope that way i get approval from google display ads?
3)I have huge keyword searches for breast implant in my area. Next, i will try to do ppc. Any suggestions let me know.
So, can someone tell me whats the best way to spread awareness for my clinic in my city?

In my understanding, Content Marketing would be a better facilitator to your awareness efforts — which would be around the content pieces your target audience would be interested in knowing, and in form of Video, Reels, Shorts etc.
I’m not sure how you’ve setup the YT ads but if you’ve done it through Google Ads interface, there would be an option to limit the delivery to just the people living in those areas. You’ll definitely see a dip in impressions but it would be more targeted to relevant audience group.
In general, ad platforms help you filtering down your audience group, reach them at a budget of your preference but the re-call happens only through the message of in your creatives and ads. I’d suggest focus more on why someone should remember you — any success stories, feedback from your customers?? Include them in your ads to build trust. Are there any limitations of the procedures, talk about it who it is more useful for. There could be some myths about certain surgery that you may hear during your consultation with your customers — talk about those in your ad messages.
It would take time to build your brand online and maybe more, to register in the minds of prospects but it’s going to be worth the effort.
I’d also recommend hiring some expert who can do it for you, instead of doing it yourself. You don’t want to indulge yourself in something that you’re not an expert at, and end up burning more money than you should.
