Whats really important in PPC?
Hello guys,
I come from a background where I started an ecommerce company in retail/resell in Sweden reaching about 6,5m euro annually in revenue. I then sold that company for a big sum, started consulting for some companies (while seeking new concepts and ideas) and tripled their revenue over four weeks. This is a Forbes-level company but they had quite low sales through own channels, mostly through b2b.
What I have learned is:
\- FB Marketing does very little for revenue.
\- Google Search Ads and Display ads does a minimum of 5-10% of revenue
\- Google Shopping is the absolutely main source of income. No doubt about it.
\- Affiliates are great. No risk, pay as you sell.
\- SEO is important, but is becoming less so, since less people go organic, Google is trying actively to make pay ads more visible.
I am now starting a new ecommerce in a new niche and what I have noticed is that the CPA is quite high for a newcomer before brand awareness, direct purchases and email purchases comes into play.
