Better definitely, no lifestyle scam.

Tiktok would probably be a lot bigger and Youtube.

If we could include all Meta products, it would be utter chaos for a while, then it would calm down.
People would start talking to one another again.
Political extremism, sexism and racism would immediately drastically decrease.
The whole damn world would be better off.

I don’t think it would look that different tbh. There’s plenty of platforms that can essentially take its place, people would be kinda sad maybe, and some people who primarily make money off it (though those types are pretty few anyway) would need to find another way, but overall people would just use other platforms.

Tomorrow? I could care less. Pre-reels? I’d be a little upset. As someone whose job revolves 99% around photos Instagram died the day it released reels. I will post videos but on TikTok and YouTube shorts. On a personal level, I left meta months ago could care less but for work it’s honestly an obligation at this point.

If Instagram shut down tomorrow, users would likely flock to other platforms, but many might also seek more meaningful, offline connections, fundamentally changing social media habits.

Well me tal health would probably improve in the people that regularly use it, so that is a bonus…
