Use a fast host.
Add alt text to images.
Write for specific keywords actually in demand instead of randomly.
Not changing urls to try an optimise them. Just leave them alone. -

Huge company, lot of changing stakeholders and many migration projects led to robots.txt files blocking everyone from crawling parts of our sites multiple times over the last 10 years.
Most recent incident led to a 10% global organic traffic dip. Took us 3 days to realise and 2 more to fix. After 6 weeks we are still 6% down from this, recovering very slowly.
