Hi, I’m doing social media for a YouTube channel, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get verified on social networks. Obviously gonna leave the name of the channel out of it, but it’s basically like a YouTube channel called The Sports Dude, hosted by a guy named Kevin, whose legal corporation name is Free Throws In OT LLC. (This is pretty common in entertainment and YT since things like “The Sports Dude” are common wording and already taken for official incorporation docs).

In this case, all the social handles are listed under The Sports Dude, but the incorporation files and all utility bills go to Free Throws In OT LLC. I’m not really sure if the host’s drivers license would work, since they’re not his PERSONAL accounts, they’re the channel’s accounts.

    Any experience with this?

Are you in the United States? If so then you need what’s called a d/b/a or ” doing business as”.
