  • What to do if domain has bad anchor text?

    Good day, Ladies and Gentleman,

So, i just bought a domain that cost $100 about couple weeks ago from catch(.)club
The backlink profile is quite good for me, 1% spam score, DA34 PA30, age: 22 years and still indexed.
But i made one single mistake, the domain has spammy anchor text which is 3,6k(72%) dofollow links to target from 47(11%) ref. domains.
After i create my page on super easy keyword, my page didn't even show up.
fyi, the domain itself has backlink from archive(.)org, npr(.)org, 3 edu's backlink and there is more than 70 domains that has over 70 DA.

So i did some research and find out it could be that spammy (probably negative) anchor text "Fanatical Apathy" in my domain so i start thinking it's the main reason my domain didn't ranked.

    So, Ladies and Gentleman,
Maybe i'm wrong, so please give me some advice.
or if i'm right about my research, please help me how to remove the 3,6k "Fanatical Apathy" anchor text from my domain.

I really looking for your help and appreciate it.

    Thank you in advance.

    # Contact Webmasters:

Since many of these backlinks are from dofollow links, reach out to the webmasters of the referring domains that contain the bad anchor text. Politely ask them to either change the anchor text to something more relevant to your content or to remove the link entirely. Although this can be time-consuming, it’s one of the most effective ways to clean up your backlink profile.

    # Disavow Bad Links:

If the webmasters don’t respond or you can’t get them to change the anchor text, you can use Google’s **Disavow Tool**. Create a disavow file that includes the links with the spammy anchor text. By submitting this to Google, you’re telling the search engine to ignore those links when assessing your site.

    * Use tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Moz to compile a list of these bad backlinks and domains.
    * Create a simple .txt file with the list of URLs or domains you want Google to ignore and upload it through the **Disavow Tool** in Google Search Console.

    # Build New, High-Quality Backlinks:

To balance out the spammy anchor text, focus on building new backlinks with **relevant, high-quality anchor text**. Consider reaching out to sites in your niche, writing guest posts, or using outreach campaigns to get more natural backlinks that use varied, relevant keywords in the anchor text.

    # Diversify Anchor Text:

As you continue to build new backlinks, ensure that you diversify the anchor text. Use a mix of **branded anchors (your domain name or brand), generic anchors (e.g., “click here,” “this site”), and keyword-rich anchors**. This will make your backlink profile more natural and prevent over-optimization.
