  • What to ask brands that want me to be an ambassador?

Posted by kuroseyutaro on September 16, 2024 at 10:59 am

My pet account recently blew up and I've had a bunch of companies reaching out for us to represent their brand, after weeding through the scam ones there's a few brands that I actually like that have asked. I've never done anything like this before so I have no clue what I should be asking to make sure I don't get screwed over or something. If anyone has any experience being an ambassador for a brand I'd love some tips on what to ask!

Do they want exclusivity? So you can’t work with other competitors for a certain amount of time. Is it a retainer or fixed term? If so how long and what are the terms? Will they send product? How often will they send product? Those are the basics to get the conversation going

Ask about payment what they want you to do, how often and for how long. Check if you can work with other brands. Find out what products they will give you and how they will use your content.

Hey I run a pet health brand in the UK. Do you share your socials on here or you prefer to keep it private? I’d love to check them out/ chat to you about it.

Ask specifically what they want from you as far as pics, videos of the pet, are you creating one or two campaigns? will they pay you also or just product sharing.

Majority of these inquiries are SCAMS!

Majority of the legitimate inquiries do not want to pay, yet.

    Speaking from experience aqui.
