In fact, the best time to post is when it’s crap. Do not focus on averages; test different times for each specific profile. Even if you know that your audience is most active at 6pm, that does not mean you should post at that time. The algorithms are a little more complicated than that.

The best time to post on Instagram varies depending on your audience and their location. However, these timings worked for me so I am sharing it here:
– Peak hours: 12 pm – 3 pm EST (lunch break) and 5 pm – 7 pm EST (post-work hours)
– High engagement: 8 am – 10 am EST (morning routine) and 10 pm – 12 am EST (wind-down time)
– Avoid: 3 am – 6 am EST (middle of the night, as you mentioned) -
on tiktok it doesn’t matter because it’s 24/7 in use. however with IG it’s currently the best to post the time you’re followers are the most active but tbh you shouldn’t worry all that much about postings times.

3-7 pm because that’s when everyone comes from where they were and are on their phones

Check your Instagram insights and see at what time your followers are most active. Post 30-45 mins prior to that time. And don’t forget to cross share the post as a story too.
