For optimal engagement, posting during peak hours when your audience is most active is usually recommended. Perhaps consider mid-morning or early evening to maximize visibility and interaction.

If you go into your account insights it will tell you what time frame each day your audience is the most active – that’s generally a good timeframe to post.

    (I bet it’s 3-6PM)

Definitely in the evenings, around 4-6 pm. Although you should also check out peak times of Instagram in your country.

Does it even matter anymore? I think IG changed the way it serves content into feeds but that could just be me

Aim for weekdays mornings or evenings. Generally people scroll instagram during commutes or breaks (think 10am to noon or 7-9pm). It depends on your audience though so experiment and see what works best for you!

Check your Instagram analytics and see which times your most active followers are, then post according to that.

how many followers do you have, if you have enough followers then must check the most engaging time of your followers in the insight section where you will get to know about the time and post according to that.

To determine the best time to post on Instagram, follow these strategic steps:

    1. Use Instagram’s Insights [access it from Meta’s Business Suite] to see when your followers are most active.
    2. Align posts with peak times in your key regions.
    3. Post at various times and monitor engagement to identify the best times.
    4. Post on weekdays, especially mid-week, and aim for early morning (7-9 AM) and evening (6-9 PM) to capture peak user activity.

The best time to post on Instagram depends on your followers. Use Instagram Insights to see when they’re most active. Try posting at different times, especially mornings and evenings on weekdays. Keep a consistent schedule once you find a good time. If your followers are in different time zones, adjust your posting times accordingly.

I think if you have a business account from business.facebook.com you can see at what times your followers are most active. That should help you plan out your content and when to post

It depends on who you’re trying to reach and when they’re most active. Knowing your audience’s habits can help you decide the optimal posting time.

To determine the best time to post on Instagram, start by checking your closest competitors’ posting times and try A/B testing around their schedules. Use Instagram Insights to monitor when your audience is most active and adjust accordingly. Consider using a social management tool that recommends optimal posting times based on both audience activity and engagement rates. Experiment and refine your schedule for best results.
