What is the the best social media tool?
Posted by selma2095 on January 3, 2023 at 8:11 pmHi everyone, so I am doing a benchmark on the best social media tool to use for my company. I listed a few of the tools available on the market (hootsuite, emplify, buffer, sproot social, talkwalker etc.) and I have studied a little bit the features and specifities of each on, but I would really like to have your review on the one you use, why did you choose it, the features you like and the list goes on 🙂
Thank you!selma2095 replied 2 years, 5 months ago 2 Members · 1 Reply -

GuestJanuary 3, 2023 at 11:30 pmI love hootsuite, I’m sure everyone here knows of it but the scheduling saves me a ton of time and let’s me focus on other things throughout the day.

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 12:25 amI’ve used Hootsuite, buffer, and coschedule. Out of the 3, I prefer Coschedule every time.

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 12:44 amI invite you to check out RecurPost. We offer everything other tools offer, but when it comes to generating traffic from your existing content we do not have a competitor out there.

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 3:29 amThe best software for you depends on your needs. How many social profiles do you have?

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 6:14 amI have used Hootsuite. And it’s too easy to use and it’s also simple. So you can try it. It will save your time.

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 6:41 amWhich social media you used most? For Twitter, I used TweetAttacksPro5. For Facebook&IG, I used FollowingLike. They are both easy to operate and their features are powerful.

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 10:12 amAt two global organizations, we use Sprinklr, very powerful if you have a bunch of teams that need to use it.

GuestJanuary 4, 2023 at 1:43 pmIt really does depend on what matters most to you. If you are in need of a one stop shop for social listening, account monitoring, scheduling/posting, triaging to social support agents then I would recommend Sprinklr. It’s one of, if not the most, expensive tools on the market but it’s great. Their customer support is pretty bad in my experience though.
For just social listening, I would say Talkwalker for their data coverage (they recently purchased reviewbox and have all kinds of integrated review/survey listening capabilities). They cover an extensive range of digital broadcast data (radio, podcast etc). Great customer support, far better than Sprinklr. Otherwise Brandwatch – and they also have fantastic support. All tools have data restrictions around FB and IG for social listening unfortunately so be mindful of this when I say “great data coverage”.
For just scheduling/posting – hootsuite (and they are partners with Talkwalker so you can have an add on of either depending on which platform you begin with)
For just account monitoring AND scheduling (and nothing else ) – Socialbakers. Be mindful that anything you get from here, you can pretty much get for free via native analytics however. It is a great tool though for building dashboards. The data for your owned accounts is accurate here whereas it isn’t in Talkwalker (and in tw the data can be off by a LOT). An added feature of Socialbakers is the ability to do boolean search within the post comments and sentiment analysis. You can do this in other tools, but this was added around 18 months ago and is great for adhoc analysis
EDIT – YouScan seems much better than other platforms at crawling tiktok data. Unfortunately some of the bigger players claim to cover TikTok but bring in an embarrasing number of results across pretty broad searches. YouScan performs better than other tools for crawling this data; I assume they’ve prioritized this given TikTok’s growth
