    Basically the title.

Preferably not about tools because there are too many tools that do the same mediocre job of the same thing with exception of a few.

Is there something you wish was more helpful? i.e courses, YT videos, specific strategies in SEO etc.

Or maybe not as helpful that’s in your control? (Obviously this excludes AI & Google algo updates)

    Just curious tbh.

Folks with more than a basic understanding. The shit that gets said in this sub most of the time is laughably sad. People swearing by something they read from some guy whose website doesn’t rank for shit but is happy to give advice.

Though I suppose that’s just what this sub attracts and feeds. Low quality and super basic 101 level conversation. Those with more experience and more technical questions go elsewhere for answers from real experts.

When it comes to client SEO, most providers don’t hold themselves accountable to what matters most: conversions.

All you see are flashy traffic charts or X keywords ranking in position 1-3…

Personally, I miss cool courses. You have to search for information for a long time (and it’s not always reliable).
I think we need a big school that will produce SEO experts, not amateurs.

Flair for how long someone has been in the industry or some other indicator that allows us to determine the level of expertise of someone leaving a reddit post or comment.

Too much of the blind leading the blind in SEO subreddits.

People with actual portfolio websites. Many just say what they’ve supposedly done for clients, but why can’t most of them produce the same results on their personal site? this is by far the best way to gauge who knows SEO, and who’s simply a poser/scammer.

People who actually know what they’re doing.
