    Relevant Traffic & Relevancy

Here are two that help me weed out 90%+ of potential sites:

Real-time rankings – has the site crashed recently, slow move down, is it flat, going up every month?

Relevancy – look at what the site is ranking for. Are they getting all their traffic to one page? Is it all coming in on trash keywords like celebrity net worth? Do they have any traffic related to your niche?

Those two things alone should give you a good idea on whether it’s worth pursuing or not.

If you want to go deeper, look at their backlink profile, look at their outbound link profile, ask them I’d they can internally link to your post from another post on their site, see if they’re just a link farm with majority of their articles being paid, ask them if the link is Follow or Nofollow, is it marked sponsored..

    Hope this helps.

When buying a backlink via a guest post, the most important thing to keep in mind is the **quality and relevance of the hosting website.

**1. Domain Authority and Trustworthiness:** Ensure the website has a high domain authority (DA) and is considered trustworthy within its niche. Websites with higher DA are typically more valuable for backlinks as they can pass on more SEO “juice” to your site.

**2. Relevance to Your Niche:** The website should be relevant to your industry or niche. Backlinks from sites that are contextually related to your content are more valuable and are looked upon more favorably by search engines.

**3. Organic Traffic:** Evaluate the website’s organic traffic. A site with steady and significant organic traffic indicates it is well-regarded by search engines and can provide more value through the backlink.

**4. Quality of Content:** The quality of the content on the website is crucial. Websites that regularly publish high-quality, engaging, and well-researched articles are more likely to be respected by both users and search engines.

**5. Editorial Standards:** Ensure the website maintains high editorial standards. This includes checking for proper grammar, absence of spammy content, and adherence to ethical SEO practices.

**6. Link Profile:** Analyze the link profile of the site. Avoid websites that have numerous outbound links to low-quality or spammy sites, as this could negatively affect your SEO.

**7. Guest Post Policies:** Review the website’s guest post policies to ensure they align with best practices. Sites that accept guest posts indiscriminately might be seen as less credible by search engines.

**8. Engagement and Audience:** Consider the level of engagement on the site’s content (comments, social shares, etc.) and the demographics of its audience. A site with an active, engaged audience is preferable.

By keeping these factors in mind, you can maximize the SEO benefits of the backlinks you obtain through guest posts and ensure they contribute positively to your site’s search engine ranking and overall online presence.

Get backlinks from your niche related authority website not on PBN sites and spam score less than 5%. Also related to your required country traffic. You can also get backlinks from News, General Sites which has your related niche as well as through Press Release with 90% Do Follow and 10% No Follow.

I look at the organic pages metric inside Ahrefs to see how many of the pages on the site are indexed.
