What is the effective way to promote your social media?
There are many different opinions on how to gain followers on Instagram or Facebook, either organically or with a small budget. I need to increase my followers on these platforms within a year or so, but I’m not in a hurry. I’ve been posting almost daily for a few months, mainly sharing personal development content, short posts, and my own quotes. However, I haven’t seen a significant rise in followers. I’m looking for advice from someone who has successfully grown their real follower base on Instagram or Facebook in the past few years. I would appreciate tips on the best way to do this. My goal is to get some likes and comments on my posts to ensure people are engaging with them.

Generally speaking, it’s hard to grow on Instagram right now, but it is still possible. Social media algorithms are designed to prioritize content that keeps people on the platform for as long as possible and content that drives engagement.
Are you creating content that people want to see? Is your SEO on point? Is your profile optimized?

Do researches such as virality, audio, hashtags, key words, caption scripting and formats that works best in your niche and compile your information then use methods like inter-intra-outsourcing, FUF-R, jarvey and the parent child to get some organic traction on your profile. Also, it’s best to create your own content, not from scratch is alright but as long as it’s original to your platform and makes you stand out(add watermarks too since there are so many out there who just repost content from other pages without any credits and start getting viral off of others work). Along with this, make sure that you are constantly engaging with people that leave remarks on your profile – leave out thank yous to those who pop you a follow and give story shares as this will tell your followers that you appreciate them. And it would also be best if you uploaded at least 2 to 3 stories everyday just giving some appreciative and valuable content out. Feel free to dm me if you’d like more help or anything of sort. Growing followers is all about the value you provide, especially with personal development content. Keep those posts insightful with top-notch images and catchy captions.
Video content is also key – Stories and Reels are great for that personal touch. Engage with your audience through polls and Q&As.
And don’t forget to optimize your profile for search – clear bio, right keywords, and a user-friendly handle. I’ve been experimenting with this app, Boost App Social, for some of this stuff like enhancing bios and captions. Might be a handy tool for you too. Engagement is king, so keep those interactions authentic and you’ll see growth!

The most important advice is to pay attention to studying your niche, target audience and competitors. The more insights you collect at the initial stage, the easier it will be for you to create your own strategy, select hashtags, influencers, decide on the type of publications, and additional topics.
Invest in marketing tools that will help you collect this data. For example, I can recommend the Instagram activity tracker Snoopreport.
