GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 6:19 amI feel X’s future like a rollercoaster, doesn’t it? It may face challenges with user trust and advertiser support and possibly losing relevance. But its real-time updates may keep it important for breaking news and public conversations.

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 6:20 amIn five years, X/Twitter could evolve into a hybrid platform blending AI-driven content curation with decentralized governance, reshaping how we engage with digital communities and news.

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 6:21 amIn five years, X (formerly Twitter) could be more integrated with new technologies and features, but its relevance will depend on how well it adapts to user needs and competition from other platforms.

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 8:47 amHard to say. My personal theory is that Musk will get bored and sell it off, either by choice or be forced to.
They are under immense legal regulatory pressure in a few regions, I can see Musk getting sick of it and just selling the platform on. Either that or he goes full in with X and it just because a right wing hangout spot.
If they re-launch Vine it could be a very interesting pivot.
If he sells… very likely the new owners would try and resurrect the Twitter brand, which is still very strong, and who knows what will happen then.

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 9:05 amPretty hard to predict. But a lot of social networks have disappeared over the years, and Twitter doesn’t really offer much in terms of functionality that others don’t have. It’s propped up by the network effect and a billionaire who wants a platform where he can promote his ideology and himself.

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 9:44 amHis plans appear to be obvious. Twitter will bounce back in 5 but very difficult to see through the optics of popular opinion and politics right now

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 2:45 pmX will file bankruptcy in the next year to remove the $1 billion dollar annual debt payments.
X will be coming out with real time payments soon and Elon wants X to turn into a payment app.
I believe the Elon/X brand is so tarnished that it doesn’t matter how good the payment feature is, X will be limited on growth.

GuestAugust 30, 2024 at 8:11 pmAfter reading some of the bad reviews I decided to login. Last time I used twitter was few years ago. I’m a programmer so I follow only IT stuff. However after scrolling for a while Trump related stuff started popping up. I was very surprised in a bad way.
