Instagram needs to allow us to toggle your feed order, and they also need to organize notifications. It’s pretty much useless for any account with a decent number of followers.

A sense of responsibility over the accuracy and legality of the content that they distribute?

To be able to repost IG stories (Add this to story) that use your location tag the same way you can repost stories that use your @ tag. Especially for businesses

The existing platforms should offer a white-label service I can host on my own domain name (like G Suite), allowing my organization to retain control of our namespace.

Search multiple hashtags at once (for example posts that contain both #nyc and #dessertporn)

Ability to block certain type of content on your feed or search results. Would love to block all comments and videos to do with the current pandemic for example – just to get data from official sources. It would make it easier to avoid rabbit holes when I’m just on there to find entertaining content.

From a business perspective — and I can’t believe this hasn’t been mentioned yet — better customer support. We have Facebook ads that regularly get rejected for inaccurate reasons because they’re essentially vetted by AI. But trying to reach an actual person at Facebook for assistance is pretty much impossible.

Music. Specifically, streaming. Full integration with premium streaming accounts Spotify, Apple Music etc to allow for the free sharing & collective streaming of music AND artists get paid.

Seriously – let me pay to use it in a way that doesn’t mean my personal data gets exploited and I get tracked everywhere.
