Hi guys, I'm trying to learn how to do SEO marketing and want to read books about it. Could you recommend some must-read books to me?

The Art of SEO and Product-Led SEO are pretty good.

I would check out LearningSEO.io. Probably the best free online resource available.

I think this post itself is just SEO to shill second rate books. Here’s my honest, human, non-gpt written opinion…

3 Months to number 1 is kind of a defacto top pick, its rated much higher than the art of SEO. It lists free tools that are actually valuable and teaches you about increasing conversions. For example, your page load speed is way more important than people realize. There was a study to determine how much revenue you lose when you increase your load times, and the author turned it into a calculator. No BS i increased my revenue by a lot after reading that book. The next thing, is Criminal SEO. Its a new book but it tells you the absolute dirtiest, most effective tricks people are using to get top spots on google and how to combat them. For example, your competitors might have top ranking articles on medium that out perform your best page. Criminal SEO walks through how to get those spam articles removed, and how to get google to put your articles in place of them. I would read both books.

Andy crestodina’s book is very solid covering digital marketing and specifically content strategy and SEO with charts and graphs for visual learners as well. Extremely useful.

The Art of SEO is a great reference book and all-around good choice for any knowledge level.
