What actions should a PPC Manager do their first two weeks at a new job?

I’m at the Manager level (up from being a Specialist, I’m managing the Paid Search channel) and have no idea exactly how or what to take initiative on.

Don’t take this the wrong way but are you familiar with the Peter Principle?

Do you have people higher up to give some hints?

It’ll be nearly impossible to anyone who doesn’t know your circumstances or the accounts to give any kind of accurate advice.

I would run a [PPC Account Audit Guide](https://www.takesomerisk.com/ppc-audit-guide/) across all the account under me. I would find out all client goals, revenue targets and KPIs and work on learning their business and industry. Then share my audit with the team and get their feedback. There should be some job description or you were told what is involved with this promotion.

Familiarize with the accounts, the targets and the business models, run a check on the tracking codes (without tracking advertising is pointless), think of some campaign optimization ideas. Being proactive i guess is the best initiative.
