many social media platforms can sharing a videos but the website which builds up mainly to upload and shere a videos whatever long and quality it was, currently they only one website… YouTube of course so because it's have a big community and extremely popular crediting a competitor or even clone website will be extremely hard to let users switching from youtube.
finding youtube replacement is around many people because youtube become the worst user experience due to a lot of ADs and forcing to take premium subscription, also because they are no worries about competitors they even fighting for AD Blockers so you can't watch video until turning off ad blocker.
with other Video Sharing Platform, managing to success will be finally breaks youtube's monopoly of video sharing platform and makes at less two compatitors.
