Using search console and comparing CTR
I have a webapp and my trafic is coming from SEO/search engines. I am using google search console, and so far here are my metrics for the past 3 months
95 total clicks
1.7k impressions
5.6% CTR
17 avg position

What do you use this information for and secondly how can I also compare my CTR to other websites in my niche?

Your impression is high meaning you have rich keywords
But your clicks are low
CTL is low.
Try and optimize your existing content, add more value to it. With this, you improve your position
Make your titles and meta description click-worthy to improve your clicks and CTR.
Use questions people ask to optimize your content to make it rich.
With these, you see changes.
Get those keywords in your search console with high impression and low clicks, write in-depth article and internally link to the existing ones.
