USA vs UK targetting – Facebook

Posted by BVA_15 on September 25, 2024 at 10:22 am

    Hi guys,

I started a new company selling custom canvases focussed on the dog niche. My Facebook ad account and pixel is about 8 days old now and I've spend $380 and last night I got my first sale. For now I've only done Image ads (carousels and static images).

    My average CPM is $60
    Average CTR 2%
    Average CPC $3

Now my question is, this is all focussed on the USA market with dog related interests. Is the USA market just too competitive to compete in? Maybe going over to the UK would be better?

I think that winning in the USA gives you more future perspective than in the UK, what do you guys think or recommend?

It can be competitive since it’s such a large pool of people – however, I’d ditch the interests and use an advantage + campaign since you want sales. Best to let algorithm decide who in America is your best prospect.
