The real metric people forget about (because it isn’t reported) are # of quick backs users do on your site. If they click your result and back out immediately, that’s not good. Page load speed is the #1 contributor to this.
Think about YouTube videos. The videos that have high completion rates are the ones that are recommended. That’s how YouTube knows what content is good vs bad. The worst thing you could do is start watching a video and click out early. Same goes for website.
