Can someone suggest and share their experience with Google's thin content. I see many news sites , brands have thin ,low value content but still rank on Google whereas new sites with less / to the point answers fall into thin content in Google's eyes. Any hack for this or ranking such content. I see news/fact is fact it has nothing new or fresh to create or over right it by making it hard for the readers to find what they are looking for.

Thin content is an issue made up by content writers trying to pad invoices with Word Count. Word count is not a factor. If people don’t get what they need, they’ll click on other results which in turn get a higher CTR and rank better.

Google doesn’t try to rank or grade content based on the document itself – every document is a claim. A Claim is not evident of support for itself (origin of begs the question).

COntent does have to be long or short or new or fresh or original – these are just things that people think or push to suit a pov or agenda.
