Twitter/X And Personal Data Situation
Hello socialmedia r,
I’ve been using Twitter/X for a while now and would like to delete my account now. The reason for wanting to do this is that I used it mainly when I was in middle school and used to post lots of personal stuff (stuff that was identifying), lots of edgy stuff, and lots of embarrassing stuff. I went through a phase where I was also very, for less of a better word, not a very good person and looking back I regret a lot of the things I posted, commented, etc.
Now I know that I could just delete the account by logging into my account on my desktop and deleting it in settings but I wanted to know if anyone knew if there was a way to make sure all my data was erased? I plan to go through and manually delete all my posts, unlike all the posts, etc, which may take a few hours but I don’t mind doing it for peace of mind as its a one time thing. Is there anything else I can possibly do to make sure everything is cleared/removed? Thank you for the help.
