  • Trying to build a Linkedin Community, need help

    Hello,

I am currently handling social media for a financial conglomerate and I want to build a community of investors. Naturally, i thought of Linkedin, because that's where most of our target demographic is also in. Is it a good idea? How can we get started with it?

any tips would be greatly appreciated,

The answer to this could be an entire course or … ok here’s 3 steps you want to do simultaneously:

    1. Start adding people in your target audience. Solves the ‘cold start’ problem.
    2. Start commenting on their posts. Leave actually valuable comments.
    3. Start posting content that will be helpful for them.

You could unpack each of these and go into specific tactics but, to just start, just start. If you need help with any of these steps, hmu.

PS I’ve scaled a 7-figure agency in 2 years with Linkedin as our primary channel so I know a fair bit on how to work with it

When you say “community” are you talking building a personal network or a LinkedIn Group?
