Truth or thread
I know these exist but have never used or heard of people using in my social circle. Im curious if anyone knows how widespread these apps are and if they are remotely competitive with twitter? Not a political thing or anything just curious about these apps as i am ignorant to them

Threads is getting more popular globally, and works roughly the same way as Twitter, but still doesn’t have anywhere near the same reach of it yet.
If Twitter doesn’t improve it’ll probably implode at some point.
Truth Social is really just a US thing for Trump followers.

They are both not good enough for me. I used Threads for a while and dumped it. It wasn’t any where near X.

I just started using Threads and I really like it. It even seem to be getting a boost currently because of the election and Twitters apparent biases. At least I see a lot of posts of users saying they just switched.
