  Tracking wordpress website for free through Google analytics?

  Can I track my wordpress website for free through Google analytics. Currently i am using the personal plan of wordpress. I am really confused on where to paste the Google tag provided in Google analytics to my website so that it starts tracking it.

  Install a plugin called SiteKit. You can link Google Analytics.

  You’re using WordPress hosting it’s absolutely pure garbage. Get yourself a real hosting company like namecheap or AWS

  You made the mistake of going through [WordPress.com](https://WordPress.com), not [WordPress.org](https://WordPress.org).

  What you want is the .org. Ditch using WordPress’ hosting and get a host like others in the comments are saying.

  I would avoid GoDaddy and HostGator, a lot of my clients have had problems with their hosting.
