  • TikTok Post did well (still going) — should I post native video to other platforms?

I want to post the same video on my IG, YT Shorts, and FB Page but have the following concerns:

    1. Future TikTok Posts receive less traction due to identification of cross-platform posting given the already existing connection to Instagram
    2. Current video stops being shown to new users

    What should I do?

I think as long as you keep in mind that different social media platforms have different audiences and user behaviors. What works well on TikTok may not necessarily work as well on other platforms, so it’s important to tailor your content to each specific platform.
Before posting your video on another platform, consider the platform’s audience, culture, and format. For example, Instagram’s audience is generally more focused on visual aesthetics and high-quality content, so you may want to consider investing more time and effort in creating a polished video for that platform. On the other hand, Twitter’s audience tends to prefer short, snappy content, so you may want to focus on creating a shorter version of your video or creating a teaser to drive traffic to your TikTok post.
If you do decide to do so, remember to tailor your content to each specific platform to maximise its potential reach and engagement.
