TikTok business account
I recently made a business account on TikTok, but didn’t get as much response as i though. I expected to reach more engagement since i started posting videos. I am not sure if i should use the same strategy as for Instagram. Are the hashtags also that important on TikTok or am i missing something?
If you have any suggestions on what to do, I’ll highly appreciate it!

I think I would change the strategy somewhat for TikTok, did you do some research before you started posting? How many times a week/ day do you post? You probably know this but being consistent is the key and knowing your target audience as well.
What Type of videos are you posting? Maybe you could switch it up, original and unique content about your brand, it’s story and services or products will more than likely attract more people to your TikTok. Have you been keeping up with the TikTok trends? I have found that it’s a must to stay on top of them. As well as posting regularly and consistently.

TikTok is now overcrowded if you trying to do same thing it will not going to promote you either entertain or educate your viewers.

How long have you been at it? How often do you post? What’s the niche? What is your goal with the account?
If the answer is “become tik tok famous” adjust your expectations.
No matter the answer, come on down to r/demandmyths, post this again, with answers to my above questions, and we’ll see if we can get you to a place of satisfaction with tik tok, or, if it seems necessary, we’ll get you on a platform that better suits your needs?

Are you going to be paying for ads as well? I found that I got significantly less views when I was set to business than I did when I was set to personal.
I originally set as personal, got roughly 3k – 15k views per video, switched to business and my views dropped to 250. So I switched back to personal and my views went up again.

How many times did you post on tiktok. And yes hashtags are very important on tiktok.
