  Thoughts on Medium? Is it a waste of time?

  Hi there,

  I currently write on Beehive and was wondering what everyone’s thoughts on Medium was? Are there any benefits in posting some of my content on there from an SEO perspective? Could it help distribution & reach? Just looking to help grow awareness of my longer writing.

  It’s a channel, not a platform
  That and substack, for some reason people hype them up as though they are all you have to do to be successful. They are limited to the audience there… It’s a public MailChimp

  If that’s all you do you’re being incredibly wasteful, because it should only be where you syndicate content you’ve intentionally published elsewhere for your sake.

  Your foundations?
  Blog
  LinkedIn (company page or yours)

  Then syndicate it
  Medium
  Quora
  Substack

  Paces with audiences of their own where you can reach some more.

  Then social media all that
