  • Thoughts on creating a TikTok account for someone’s company

An e-commerce company reached out to me and said they would pay me $25 flat out and a commission of 50cents per 1000 views for creating and posting content on their TikTok page. Does this sound reasonable?

Each post $25? Or just setting up the account? Not bad in my mind.

That sounds like a bad deal, if I’m understanding this correctly.

This is horrifyingly low for the amount of work that goes into doing Tiktok properly.

Absolutely not omg. Do you know how many videos stay under 1000 views (especially when you’re first starting out)??? Not counting the work, effort, and time that goes into actually doing tiktok. No amount of free product is worth that.

Personally I would do: $50 per video minimum and keep the commission but negotiate to $1 per 1000 or 50c per 500. Or go for a monthly flat fee that guarantees x# of videos (higher rate, higher amount of vids) and scrap the commission.

Noooo that is completely unreasonable for the amount of work that would involve. That is insultingly low and I’m guessing they’re pretty detached from social media marketing or else do not value it or your time at alllll.

Get the contract in writing and signed. Post it on their TikTok with a caption “make this go viral”. Profit.

А почему нет? Надо только убедиться, что это компания, а не какой то жулик

Make random, low-effort videos trying to get one on the FYP if they didn’t explicitly ask you to make good quality content

Ads on TikTok average about $0.003 CPV (cost per view) or $3 per 1,000 views. This doesn’t take into account the work going into creating content.

Assuming you’re not doing professionally produced videos and creating just quick hit content, maybe $100 per video + what I outlined above
