I think my boss was on the legacy plan. We had some issues with logging into Ahrefs at the same time, so he decided to add me as an extra user.

It’s the first time I learn about this **new credit system**. I know it has been changed a while ago, but literally I am on it since 1 week ago, because of this changes.

This sucks and I guess there is no way to get the old plan back now??

What are your thoughts on Ahrefs? Have you used it less, or changed to SemRush? We used it quite frequently, and if I would use it the same way like I used it before it would be a 1000$+ cost (so not worth it).

Ahrefs is getting greedy because they think they can be. For now, Ahrefs is still top-notch in regard to their backlink data, even though I would like to replace them. If best-in-class backlink data isn’t so important to you, stick with Semrush. Also check out Majestic if you need good metrics (e.g. Topical Trust Flow) but not best-in-class backlink data.

Idk we have like 10 or 20 users. It’s worth it. I don’t think anyone knows/cares what we pay.

In my opinion, it is still the best but it has become too expensive, I have to be careful where I click because for every click they take away my credit. It annoys me a little.

I have no idea what you all are doing to run through tons of credits like this.

I despise their CMO and they way he behaves on social media. I have never seen an employee of a company attack their counterpart on social media over a company statement. They sponsor an SEO event that belittles women and has an all-white person panel, and their CMO speaks at it too.
