The Return of Google Ads – Bidding Strategy

Posted by No_Independent876 on July 18, 2024 at 1:50 pm

Hi! I am restarting my Google Ads campaign after a 7 month hiatus. I am confused regarding what should be my Bidding Strategy. I am selling home decor products online in India. I am getting a good response from Meta Ads. For Google where I have 0 conversions should I maximise for clicks or conversions? As I believe Google needs some conversion data before it can optimise for conversions. Thank you.

I usually start on manual as it gives you the biggest opportunities to sculpt the traffic flow to ensure google collects data evenly. Then move to max clicks to boost the flow of data. Finally, max conversions with a tcpa strat, OR troas depending on campaign type and your success in the previous steps.

Start with max clicks, then switch to conversions once you get some data

I usually start with maximize conversion for 7 days, after that I turn for manual pay per interaction until I get too many conversations in several months then turn to pay for conversion
