  Hello, if I target Scotland in Google Ads, will I be competing against advertisers who are targeting UK? I would hate that

  Yep! Until Google considers Scotland to be no longer a part of the UK, anyone who targets all of the UK will be bidding on impressions in Scotland. You will be competing.
